A lawsuit or citation
Look for a court name, cause number, parties, and response instructions. Keep every page of the citation and petition together. An Answer is a document filed in the court case; an intake form or email to MiCaso is not an Answer.
Read the Texas Justice Court answer guide →A collection letter
A collection notice and a lawsuit are different documents. Save the letter and envelope. Validation information can identify the creditor, amount, and how to dispute the debt. Review the notice carefully before deciding what to do.

MICASO HELP CENTER
Answers before you begin.
Which option should I start with?
Start with the free initial review. The $59.99 option is for guided preparation of a response only. The $29.99 monthly membership adds ongoing self-help and administrative support for one active case while your membership remains active.
Is attorney review available?
The $199.99 response-and-attorney-review option is planned, with availability still to be confirmed. Attorney review is not included in the $59.99 option or membership. MiCaso does not represent clients in court.
Does MiCaso file my documents with the court?
Court filing and automatic deadline tracking are not included in our current service. You remain responsible for filing, required delivery to other parties, and meeting deadlines. Check the instructions for your court.
How much time do I have to answer?
The answer deadline depends on the court, service date, and applicable rules. Read your citation and confirm the deadline using the correct court instructions or a Texas attorney. Do not use a general online deadline as a substitute for checking your own case.
What if I ignore the lawsuit?
If you do not respond, the plaintiff may ask the court for a default judgment. Filing an answer does not itself resolve the lawsuit or guarantee an outcome. TexasLawHelp’s Justice Court guide explains the answer process and provides forms.
What happens after I submit the intake?
We review the information and documents, request clarification if needed, and email you the review outcome and available service options. The intake does not create a subscription, take payment, or create an attorney-client relationship.
What does support throughout my case mean?
For one active case, membership includes guided response preparation, review of lawsuits and collection letters, a digital case file, review of new documents in that case, settlement communication preparation support, and administrative support by email. Support continues while your membership is active.
Will MiCaso negotiate or settle the debt for me?
MiCaso provides tools and administrative support to prepare collection settlement communications. We do not directly negotiate with creditors on your behalf. Preparing a settlement communication is separate from responding to a court case.
What if I already answered or received a judgment?
Tell us what has already happened and include the latest papers. A new response alone may not address a hearing, judgment, garnishment, or other later-stage issue. A Texas attorney can assess those issues; do not assume they are covered by the response package.
Can I send more documents later?
Active members may submit new documents from the same case for review. Include your name and case reference so we can connect them with your existing file. A separate lawsuit is a separate case.
How can I contact MiCaso?
Email info@getmicaso.com. Support at these prices is by email only. We do not promise phone or WhatsApp support. Avoid sending unredacted sensitive identifiers.
Can MiCaso guarantee a dismissal or savings?
No. MiCaso does not guarantee a dismissal, a particular settlement, savings, a credit-score change, or any court outcome. The platform provides self-help tools and administrative support.
